Being on the Board of Trustees is a rewarding role for me, especially at Waerenga. My current priorities are to continue to support our new Principal as he grows in his role; to ensure we have good systems in place; and to make sure resources are channelled into improving student achievement across the school – I believe the better we can set our children up when they are young, the better their confidence and opportunities at their next levels of schooling.

I have been on the Board of Trustees at Waerenga since 2013, holding the position of Chairperson since 2016.

I am a part-time mother of 3; Lucy (age 12, at TK College), Bianca (age 10, at Waerenga), and Emelia (age 5yr, at Waerenga); and part-time garden designer. My garden design business is new and I am enjoying the challenges that come with this. My husband, Mark, is a partner at Franklin Vets and we all live in Waerenga.

My professional background is in business development, business strategy and project management in the food manufacturing industry. I have a degree in Food Technology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies and a certificate in Horticulture.

I like to be involved. I am organised, reliable, friendly and details-focussed.
I love gardening, skiing, mountain biking and spending time with my family & friends, especially at the beach.
