Angela Parry

I have three children at Waerenga School. Two of which started in June 2016 when we moved to the area. Since day one I have been impressed with the culture and school spirit.

I have been the Treasurer of the PTA since October 2016, and have recently attended the pool course. I also contribute to the organisation of our Calf Club Fundraising events. This involvement has given me an appreciation of the school dynamics and the strong partnership between the school and its community.

I was on the Morrinsville Parents Centre Committee for three years and had also been a member of the Te Aroha Kindergarten Association (TAKA) Board for four years. I have enjoyed the role of governance for TAKA, and take pride in the fact we have achieved the majority of goals set out in our Five Year Strategic Plan.

I currently work at Franklin Vets as a Large Animal Technician as well as Sharemilking on a Dairy Farm.

I am keen to continue on the Board of Trustees at Waerenga School as I’m passionate about the success and future of what I believe is already a great rural primary school. I enjoy being able to contribute and make a positive difference to any organisation I am part of. More than anything, I want the best for all kids that attend our School.
